What to expect at your first appointment

Enliven's Weight-Loss clinic is located on the 1st floor of Enliven MedSpa

Arrive 15 min early to complete paperwork

Dr. Ulland will review your paperwork with you and confirm you are a candidate for this treatment

We will take your weight at every appointment to track your progress

You will receive your monthly dosage of Semaglutide
What comes next after your first consultation?
Getting your first month's injections
Your first month of injections will be given at the time of your first appointment. Beth is able to give the first injection for you before you take the rest home with you.
Follow up appointments
Dr. Ulland requires a one month follow up after starting injections. You are then required to have a follow up every 3 months.*
Getting your monthly injections
Once you have completed your one month follow up, Dr. Ulland sends your prescription to Beth. She will fill your prescription upon request monthly. Please give her 24 hours notice before you need it filled to insure it is done when you need it.
Call or text 715-227-6677 to request your refill. Your injections will then be at the main floor Enliven front desk.
*follow ups are required every three months after your one month follow up. This does not apply if you wish to increase your dosage or if Dr. Ulland has health concerns that need regular follow ups

What is Semaglutide?
Semaglutide is known as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists.
How does Semaglutide work?
Semaglutide mimics the GLP-1 hormone that is released in the gastrointestinal tract in response to eating.
Semaglutide reduces cravings and the urge to eat, reduces glucose production, increases insulin production, and slows the emptying of your stomach causing you to feel full longer.
Are there any side-effects?
Most commonly reported side effects are: Vomiting , diarrhea, abdominal pain and constipation.
